Make ‘The Pit Stop’ for casino games, dancing girls and biker beauties, Glassboro, Friday, May 18 to benefit NJ Aid for Animals’ pit bull program

GLOUCESTER COUNTY – Got plans for the third Friday night in May?

If you make your usual “pit stop” at a favorite bar or restaurant for a well-deserved, end-of-the-week refreshment, why not be a little adventurous on Friday, May 18, and drop by The Landmark Inn’s Private Night Club for an exciting evening of casino gaming, cigar rolling, hot cars, biker beauties and yes dancing girls!

Gentlemen, start your engines – and bring your ladies — to “The Pit Stop,” for a racy evening of placing your bets and lusty libations to benefit NJ Aid for Animals’ ambitious pit bull rescue programs! NJAFA President Kathy McGuire proudly asserts this is one of the non-profit’s most ambitious fund-raisers in eight years since its founding.

NJ Aid for Animals, Inc. is an all volunteer humane charity focusing on abused and abandoned animals which includes a high volume of pit bulls that they help each year.  Focusing on helping to get the pits spayed and neutered as well as coming to their aid when taken from an abusive situation, NJAFA are dauntless leaders in the S. Jersey area against pit bull abuse.

The private club at  the Landmark Inn will be transformed into “The Pit Stop”,  a private, adults-only casino — complete with all the sexy and seductive temptations for every brand of gambler: from conservative bettors to the daring double-downers to the high-rolling ‘whales,’” McGuire excitedly reports.

“This is definitely a men’s event complete with corseted professional models selling raffle tickets, scantily clad biker beauties making the rounds and plenty of food and drink to fuel that gambling spirit! We’re counting on a fabulous turnout of men and their ladies who want to immerse themselves in a no-holds-barred evening of craps, roulette, blackjack, Texas Hold ‘em, $1 Miller Lights, tasty finger foods, $3 Three Olive drinks, sexy pole dancers, top-line race cars and motorcycles and lots and lots of gambling. We’re hoping ‘The Pit Stop’ ends up being our most successful, high dollar fund-raiser. We need all the operating capital we can raise to continue our mission of rescuing pit bulls and paying for our billboard that promote spay and neuter for pit bulls in low-income areas that are most at risk for abuse.”

Dazzling, jaw-dropping race cars will be on display outdoors at the Landmark Inn entrance while, just steps inside the venue, guests will want to leisurely check out the impressive collection of shiny, tricked out motorcycles, compliments of Pit Motors, Ltd.

Elaina Marin, General Manager of PIT Motors, Ltd, one of the event’s biggest sponsors says, “When NJ Aid for Animals approached us to be part of this event, it was a perfect fit. Pit Motors with their mission statement ‘working from a foundation of ethics and reliability’, our mascot, the burly, strong and misunderstood American Staffordshire terrier, and our company name an acronym for Parallel Intelligent Transportation, how could we resist.”

Marin quips further, “It all fits…My ten year old pittie is a wonderful dog with a great personality and I would never own another breed.  I know what wonderful companions they are.   Pit Motors Ltd is a proud sponsor and hopes to raise lots of money for NJ Aid for Animals and all they do for pit bulls.
