NJ Aid for Animals (NJAFA) an all volunteer humane charity is offering free life saving distemper parvo vaccination clinics in 2012. A free rabies shot will also be provided to both dogs and cats at the Paulsboro Clinic and no appointments are needed for any of the clinics.

Saturday, March 10 – Paulsboro – Boro Garage – 1:00 to 3:00 pm
Saturday, March 31 – Camden City – FOP Lodge #1 – 9:00 am to Noon
Saturday, May 12 – Camden City – FOP Lodge #1 – 9:00 am to Noon
Saturday, June 16 – Camden City – FOP Lodge #1 – 9:00 am to Noon

The free distemper shot for dogs will prevent the often fatal disease Parvo which is a highly contagious virus and besides hot weather trauma is the cause for most emergency treatments for dogs in the summertime.

These free clinics attract hundreds of people so COME EARLY!!! FOP Lodge #1 is heated.

Through NJAFA’s Pet Enrichment Program (PEP) and your generous donations, animals lives are enriched by offering a life saving vaccination, a low cost flea treatment or cardboard cat carrier, a dog house, a shave down for your dog, clipping dog or cat nails. Volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about humane education and opportunities for low cost spay and neuter.
