Most recently t his little dog in Camden City, NJ Darby needed help with an infected leg and their owners had already spent over $650 trying to help Darby but ran out of money. Turns out Dar by’s leg was infected where she receive a Leptospiris shot and the vet who administered the shot did not know to look for that. They told the owners to “see a specialist”. NJAFA sent the owners to our vets. Poor Darby had over a litre of pus drained from her leg as she could barely walk. Her temperature was l06 degrees and probably would have died of sepotscemia.
