Remember the pit bull that was held by the Gloucester Co Animal Shelter for almost one year on a potentially dangerous dog charge? They weren’t ALLOWED to even see Blaze for weeks and weeks until NJAFA stepped in.

Here is that DANGEROUS DOG “Blaze” whose middle class hard working family spent almost $10,000 on saving him which included impound fees to the shelter for holding it while the courts and attorneys postponed court dates, a tattoo on Blaze, attorneys’ fees and myriad of other costs involved. KUDOS to this poor family who saved their dog after being intimidated, harassed and given the run around by all officials involved. NJAFA helped them through the process along with some of our great donors.

If you or someone you know is involved in a bite case or potentially dangerous dog case, DO NOT LET ANIMAL CONTROL INTIMIDATE YOU. The only individual that can deem a dog be put to sleep is a municipal court judge NOT ANIMAL CONTROL
