As pet advocates and animal cruelty experts in Camden City, NJ Aid for Animals saw the suffering of dogs forced to live outside in the winter. Although it is a violation not to provide adequate shelter for your dog,  many dogs in Camden City still go without shelter. Dogs without shelter are at risk of hypothermia and frostbite. Recognizing the need to protect these dogs, NJ Aid for Animals stepped forward and launched the Dog House Project in 2007. The project provides outside dogs with a warm dog house, stuffed with straw and with a door flap to protect them from the wind.

We are so thankful for all the support we have received for our dog house project. Many more dog houses need to be purchased with your support we can save even more dogs from freezing- click here to support our mission.
