UPDATE: Free Shot Clinic in Camden City (written
by Sherry Heiser, one of the volunteers)
What a beautiful day! NJ Aid for Animals, along with 25 volunteers, vet
techs, and our vet, held a free shot clinic in Camden City along with the ACSPCA
mobile van, today to help the animals of Camden City....read more.
Our vet administered shots to 82 dogs and 13 cats. The animals' owners were
thrilled to receive free flea and tick treatments, collars and leashes, dog
treats, and food for their cats along with information on Free or reduced costs
to have their pet "fixed" & were reminded of all the preventions available to
their pets and where to go to recieve help.
Many were very interested in having their family member spayed or neutered and
signed up on the spot. "Well worth our time"

This type of neighborhood initiative can only work if a group of caring,
compassionate, animal lovers come together to help the less fortunate, who
haven't a clue of who to contact or where to go for help with keeping their pet
utd on shots, diseases, or spay/neuter surgery.
Thank you to all the volunteers, donators, and especially, the pet owners who
love their animals enough to bring them to us for help today.
I can't think of a better way to spend a beautiful, sunny, afternoon then
helping the animals.
