COCO's PUPS
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO KONA, DIO, SIENNA, COORS, TROUPER
TWO YEARS AGO ON SAT FEB 7, 2007
It will be two years on Saturday that these poor pups were born outside on the coldest night of the year at Robert McCann's house in Chiselhurst, NJ.  He testified in a court of law that he KNEW the dogs had been born and decided to leave them out in the cold.
Our love to the five babies that survived of the fifteen born.  They have turned into beautiful and loving animals.
To Mr. McCann who froze the others to death and who was charged with four counts of animal cruelty....you have used and abused the court system and our tax dollars to circumvent performing your l00 hours of community service and to pay restitution.  You have used and abused the court and its entire support system (vis a vis taxpayers money).
Shame on you

3/4/08 - Kona at her new home

Update 2/18/08

Success Story Coco Number Two

Meet Coco - She is blind and has little of a mouth left and a cleft palate.  This little girl is from Ohio and had to be surrendered.  NJAFA works in conjunction with other pitbull friendly rescues all over the United States to help to rehome animals that would never have a chance in a shelter.

We were able to place Coco with some wonderful people where she will live out the rest of her life in peace and love.

--------------------------------------------------------------

These are Coco's puppies that survived the freezing cold temperatures last February and are all happy and grown up with wonderful families!

Honey Bear One of Coco's Surviving "pups".  Look how beautiful Honey Bear is. She is a beautiful girl named after the vet who tried so hard to save the lives of her siblings after they were born outside in frigid temperatures.

Kona, one of Coco's pups that survived, is doing great! She is getting use to seeing all of the inflatable christmas decorations on people's lawns (the first time she saw one she started barking her head off) and the family that adopted her are getting ready to celebrate her first christmas. Look what a good girl she is with her siblings!!!
