for dogs and cats in Camden, NJ for individuals that
cannot afford cost or transportation.
* Improve quality of life for dogs and cats in Camden
through the Pet Enhancement Program (PEP) (shots, flea
treatment, grooming, doghouses, medical assistance)
* Reach out to Camden inner city residents through
educational and cutting edge programs.
* Pursue justice for abused animals by aiding private
citizens in the process of reporting animal abusers and
follow through to prosecution .
NJ Aid for Animals is NOT
a shelter and DO NOT accept owner surrendered animals
and CANNOT accept stray animals. Nor do we trap outside
cats and find them homes.
If you need to rehome your pet, we will ASSIST in
posting your animal or refer you to other organizations,
OR if you have a feral cat problem (cats living on your
property) we DO NOT come and remove them but we can loan
you traps, instruct you how to Trap, Neuter and Release
and may provide low cost spay/neuter for the cats.
We do not take in pets that
have owners

- Sometimes I see a woman getting into a pretty modern car dressed
to the nines with nicely manicured nails while leisurely chatting
with a friend. I think "how nice
would that be". The moment is fleeting
however and my reverie is broken as my cell phone rings and there is
another animal in trouble....click

NJAFA 2007 Highlights
- NJAFA has proven their success for its second straight year.
We have "intended" to do more, but the projects we have completed:
fundraisers; placing animals (none have come back or been returned);
spaying and neutering a couple hundred animals; helping dozens of
animals who were suffering in Camden City, NJ who needed vet care;
conceived of new promotions and fundraisers and ended our year in the
black instead of the red we are very proud of that. ...click
